INFO&TIPS

Fluid, light, and rapidly absorbed emulsion, it guarantees optimal sun protection thanks to the high effectiveness of UVA and UVB filters. A unique product to protect and moisturize the skin of the face with a single gesture, giving you timeless beauty.

Hyaluronic Acid: It promotes the physiological production of collagen, forming a microfilm capable of retaining water and promoting the natural hydration of the skin.

Vitamin E: Powerful anti-free radical and anti-aging action, resulting in moisturizing and emollient on particularly dry skin. It makes the skin compact and firm.

Sunflower oil: Sunflower oil ensures an antioxidant effect, thanks to its vitamin E content, and anti-inflammatory with protection against premature skin aging. As a result of the percentage of lecithin, the oil supports the lipid layer of the skin.

Botanical extracts of Euphrasia, Hyssop and Cornflower: soothing and moisturizing.

To apply an anti-aging cream with a protective sunscreen effectively, follow these steps:

  1. Take the right amount of cream: Usually, an amount the size of a small hazelnut is enough to cover the face and neck.
  2. Distribute the cream: Use your fingertips to apply the cream to different areas: forehead, cheeks, nose, chin, and neck.
  3. Gently massage: Apply the cream with upward and outward motions. Start from the center of the face and work outward, for example, from the cheeks toward the temples. This helps stimulate circulation and promote cream absorption.
  4. Don’t forget the neck: Apply the cream to the neck as well, using upward movements.
  5. Wait a few minutes: Let the cream absorb before applying makeup or other products, so the sunscreen and anti-aging ingredients can work effectively.
  6. Reapply if needed: If you’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors, consider reapplying the sunscreen cream every two to three hours for optimal protection.

CHARACTERISTICS OF DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES

The main types of facial skin can be classified based on their specific characteristics, such as the level of sebum, hydration and sensitivity. Here are the main skin categories:

  • Normal Skin
    • Balanced, neither too dry nor too oily.
    • Usually has a smooth, even texture with few to no visible imperfections.
    • Pores are small and barely visible.
  • Dry Skin
    • Lacks natural oils and moisture, which can make it appear rough or flaky.
    • Often sensitive, prone to cracks, roughness, and fine lines.
    • Small, barely visible pores.
    • Needs consistent hydration to stay soft and comfortable.
  • Oily Skin
    • Has high sebum production, resulting in a shiny appearance, especially in the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin).
    • Visible, often enlarged pores.
    • Prone to imperfections such as blackheads and acne.
  • Combination Skin
    • A mix of dry and oily skin: the T-zone tends to be oilier, while the cheeks may be dry or normal.
    • Enlarged pores in the T-zone but smaller, less visible pores elsewhere.
    • Requires a balanced skincare routine to address different needs in different areas.
  • Sensitive Skin
    • Easily irritated, showing redness, itching, or a burning sensation.
    • Can react to certain products, climate changes, or other environmental factors.
    • Needs gentle products free from harsh irritants.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN ASIAN SKINS AND EUROPEAN SKINS

There are some structural and functional differences between the skin of people of European and Asian descent, linked to genetic and environmental factors. Here are the main differences:

  • Skin Thickness
    • In general, Asian skin tends to have a thinner outer layer (stratum corneum) than European skin but a slightly thicker dermis. This often makes Asian skin softer and smoother but also more prone to sensitivity and irritation.
  • Sensitivity and Reactivity
    • Asian skin is often more sensitive and reactive, tending to develop redness, irritation, or reactions to products more easily. This is partly due to structural differences and a lower lipid content, which can weaken the protective barrier.
    • European skin, on average, is more resilient and better tolerates treatments and environmental changes, although fair-skinned individuals are more prone to sunburn.
  • Sebum Production and Acne
    • Asian skin tends to produce more sebum, especially in the T-zone, which can give it a shinier appearance. This can be beneficial in terms of natural protection and hydration, but it also makes Asian skin more prone to acne and blemishes.
    • Sebum production in European skin varies widely, with some people having oilier skin and others drier, depending on genetics.
  • Pigmentation and Aging
    • Asian skin tends to have a higher melanin content and generally shows signs of aging later than European skin. However, it is also more prone to hyperpigmentation, such as dark spots, especially when exposed to the sun.
    • European skin, especially lighter skin, may show signs of aging, such as wrinkles and fine lines, earlier than Asian skin. In addition, Europeans may have a higher risk of sun damage and develop sunspots.
  • Hydration
    • Asian skin can lose moisture faster due to the thinner outer layer, meaning it often needs more frequent moisturizing.
    • European skin can retain natural hydration better, though this varies depending on skin type and climate.

In summary, while there are general genetic differences between Asian and European skin, skincare is highly personalized and also depends on individual factors like skin type, lifestyle, and environment.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AMERICAN SKINS AND EUROPEAN SKINS

Actually, the differences in skin between Europeans and Americans aren’t as clear-cut as those between people of European and Asian descent. American skin is highly diverse because the United States and the Americas in general have a very heterogeneous population, including people of European, African, Asian, and Latin American descent. This genetic diversity means there’s a wide variety of skin characteristics among Americans.

However, here are some factors that can influence skin differences between Americans and Europeans:

  1. Environmental Exposure

   – The United States and Latin America span a broad range of climates and altitudes, from very sunny areas like California and the Southwest to northern and humid regions. This environmental exposure can impact the skin, leading to different skincare needs compared to Europeans who live in more temperate climates.

   – In Europe, climate variations are less extreme, but there is still a difference between the north and south, affecting the prevalence of photoaging and the common skin types found in each area.

  1. Genetic Diversity

   – The American population is extremely diverse, with a high level of genetic mixing. For this reason, it’s harder to pinpoint “typical” skin characteristics for Americans. Some ethnic groups in the U.S. may have oilier skin, others drier skin, and still others may be more prone to hyperpigmentation or wrinkles.

   – In Europe, while there is some ethnic diversity, the differences aren’t as pronounced as in the U.S. European skin is often lighter-toned, with higher prevalence of sun-sensitive skin in northern countries compared to Mediterranean regions.

  1. Lifestyle and Skincare Habits

   – Americans tend to use a wide range of cosmetic products and often follow more structured skincare routines, influenced by Asian and Korean skincare trends. These routines may include intense moisturization, sun protection, and specific anti-aging treatments.

   – In Europe, there are cultural differences in skincare routines, with some countries emphasizing natural and organic products more. Sun protection is an increasing priority but, on average, may be less emphasized than in the U.S.

In summary, there are no general biological differences between “European” and “American” skin because skin type varies more according to ethnicity, climate, and lifestyle than nationality.
